The Mark Of Athena

This
book is very interesting due to the fact it goes by 4 different peoples
perspective of a certain portion of the book. The four are Percy Jackson; son
of Poseidon, Annabeth Chase; daughter of Athena, Leo Valdez; son of Hephaestus,
and last but definitely not least Piper McLean; daughter of Aphrodite. So it’s
never really from one thought process it’s from four different one. Near the
beginning of the book Leo gets possessed by an eidolon (a possessing spirit) in
turn gaining Camp
Half-blood yet another enemy.
This
is the first of the five books I know of that is spanning both Greek and Roman
aspects and people. Because Juno takes Jason Grace praetor of Camp Jupiter from
his camp, at the same time Percy Jackson one of the most respected people at
Camp Half-blood is abducted by Hera (Juno’s Greek side). Percy and Jason are
then switched and Jason goes to Camp Half-blood and in turn Percy goes to Camp
Jupiter.
I
like this book because I find Greek mythology fascinating, because instead of
one god controlling everything, there is one god for almost every thing known.
Sort of like a checks and balances system but it works better than our
